Our signature is the rice bowl. One protein (or two, or four), fried or steamed rice, grilled veggies, your sauce — built in front of you on a 400° flat-top. The same proteins as our hibachi plates, the same recipes — just bowled instead of plated.

Both Midlothian (402 E Main St) and Waxahachie (503 N Hwy 77) serve the full bowl menu. Locals from Red Oak, Cedar Hill, Ovilla, Mansfield, and Italy grab them on the way home from work — bowled, lidded, easy to eat one-handed in the truck. Below: builds, three popular orders, FAQs.

Six proteins available
Chicken, sirloin steak, shrimp, salmon, scallops, or grilled veggie. Mix any two on a combo, or stack four on the Emperor's Bowl.
Fried OR steamed rice
Fried rice cooked on the flat-top with egg + scallions + soy. Or plain steamed jasmine — same price, your call.
Grilled veggie mix
Zucchini, onion, mushroom, broccoli, carrot — flash-grilled with garlic butter. Standard on every bowl.
Five house sauces
Yum yum, ginger, teriyaki, sweet chili, sriracha mayo. One free, extras $0.50.
Lid + utensils for the truck
Bowled with a snap-tight lid, fork in the bag. Eat at the counter, on the road, or at home.
Sub for low-carb

What's the most popular bowl?

How big is a bowl?

Roughly 16 oz — about a full coffee mug's worth. Most adults finish one; the Emperor's Bowl (32 oz) is a two-meal option.

Can I customize beyond the menu?

Yes — protein swaps, sauce-on-the-side, no-egg fried rice, no garlic, no spice. Just tell the counter or type it into the virtual receptionist.

Are bowls gluten-free?

Most proteins on plain steamed rice with no soy sauce are GF. Skip the yum yum (dairy + flour) for both DF and GF.

What's the calorie range?

Single bowls: ~450–650 cal depending on protein and rice. Veggie bowls: ~350. Emperor's: ~1,100. Tell us if you want exact macros.
