Wedding catering with real flavor.

Most wedding food is forgettable. We refuse to do that to your guests. Jalapeño's has catered weddings across Midlothian, Waxahachie, Red Oak, Cedar Hill, Ovilla, and Mansfield for eight years — plated three-course dinners, fajita action stations during cocktail hour, and the late-night taco bar that gets every wedding talking.

We work with your venue, your planner, and your florist on timing and table flow. We've staffed weddings from 50 guests in a backyard to 250 at the country club, and we bring the same care to every one.

Everything you need for the event.

Tasting before you commit
Once a deposit holds the date, you and up to 4 guests come to the restaurant for a full menu tasting. Free for booked weddings.
Custom menu design
No template wedding menus. We sit with you and build the menu around your family's traditions, your guest dietary mix, and your venue's kitchen setup.
Plated, station, or buffet
Whatever fits the vibe. Plated for formal sit-downs, action stations during cocktails, buffet for casual receptions, late-night taco bar to close the night.
Full-service staffing
Servers, bussers, dishwasher, and an event lead. Plates cleared between courses, glasses refilled, the cake cut and served at no extra charge.
Real plates + cutlery
Rental coordination included. We arrange real glassware, linens, and serveware to match your color palette.
Vendor coordination
We talk to your DJ, photographer, and planner so food service runs around the toasts, dances, and bouquet toss — not through them.

How early should we book?

Weddings book 9–12 months out for Saturdays in April–June and September–November. Off-season Saturdays and weekday weddings book closer in.

Do you do tastings?

Yes — once your deposit is in, you and up to 4 guests come to the restaurant for a full menu tasting. Free for booked weddings.

Can you do dietary accommodations?

Yes — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and major allergy plates standard. Send us your guest dietary mix 30 days out and we'll plate accordingly.

Do you provide bartenders or alcohol?

We don't hold a liquor license, so we don't bring alcohol — but we coordinate with your bar service on glass count, ice, and timing. We provide non-alcoholic agua frescas if you want them.

What about the wedding cake?

We don't bake — but we cut, plate, and serve your cake at no extra charge. We coordinate with your baker on table setup and timing.

Can you cater at our outdoor venue?

Yes — most outdoor weddings around here we've already done. We bring chafers, sterno, prep tables, and a portable handwash station. Your venue just needs power and water access.
